Business continuity policy

SHIKIBO LTD. and main subsidiaries (hereinafter referred to as "our group") declare that we, treating the businesses raised in (1) c) below as our primary businesses, understand that if these businesses are interrupted there will be a significant impact on the customers who use our group's products and services and that this will lead to a loss of faith in our group, and, as such, that we have drafted a Business Continuity Plan (hereinafter referred to as "BCP") as a means to respond to the variety of threats that could interrupt our business and that we will continue to improve this BCP in response to changes to the environment, both internal and external.

1.Business interruption prevention and modification

Our group will, through the prioritization and definition of the businesses that need to be continued and resumed, the suitable confirmation and analysis of the risks related to business interruption, the establishment of necessary and rational control measures, and the defining structures and response procedures for emergencies beforehand, prevent the interruption of business or minimize the time and scope of interruption so that we can resume business within target time frames. And in the event that a new threat to business continuity is detected, we shall immediately modify the policy.

At present (the date at which this policy was last revised), the scope of application of the BCP in our group is as set out below.

2.Increasing awareness and organizational response capability concerning business continuity

We shall work to increase awareness and organizational response capability concerning business continuity by providing education and implementing exercises concerning BCP on a regular basis.

3. Compliance with laws, national guidelines, and other standards

When creating BCPs, we shall comply with laws and regulations concerning business continuity, domestic and overseas guidelines, and other norms.

5.Continuous improvement of BCP

We shall continuously improve BCPs that are created with this policy as the basic philosophy with thorough consideration given to changes in business, social conditions, and inquiries originating from both internal and external parties.
