Guinea pigs were sensitized with house dust (allergen) for 12 days, had the rough dry skin condition produced by house dust allergy, and the skin fit conditions were compared between when house dust was applied with "MERMA-treated cloth" applied to the rough dry skin and when house dust was applied with “untreated cloth” affixed to the rough dry skin.
